Sarah Newton
Sarah Newton was the Conservative Member of Parliament for Truro and Falmouth from 2010-2019.
Sarah was the Minister of State for Disabled People, Work and Health from November 2017 to March 2019. Before this she was Parliamentary Under-Secretary to the Home Office, and Assistant Whip to HM Treasury. She was also a member of the Ecclesiastical Committee, the Science and Technology Committee, and the Administration Committee.
Prior to working as an MP, Sarah worked as the director of Age Concern England, and was the founder and initial director of the International Longevity Centre. She has a BA in History from King's College London and completed a master's degree in the United States as a Rotary International Scholar.
