Lord Shinkwin
Parliamentary Member of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Assistive Technology
Following 20 years of experience in the voluntary sector, Lord Shinkwin was appointed a life peer in 2015. Since then, he has actively campaigned for disability rights and served as commissioner of the Equality and Human Rights Commission.
Lord Shinkwin has served in various public affairs roles at RNID, Macmillan, Cancer Research UK, and The Royal British Legion. Prior to entering the Lords, he was Director of Public Affairs and Campaigns for the Wine and Spirit Trade Association. Since becoming a Peer, he has focused on disability equality issues and combating antisemitism. He sits as a Conservative.
