Dan Cooke is Viridor's Director of Communiations and External Affairs. He joined Viridor in 1999.

Prior to joining Viridor, Dan worked as an Executive Programmes Advisor with EnCams & the Tidy Britain Group working towards the provision of high-quality local environments.  He has also worked in the Environmental Promotions Unit with a large local authority (Coventry City Council) promoting recycling and cleansing services, and running environmental education and awareness programmes and campaigns.

Dan has a BA (Hons) in Communications from Coventry University and an MSc in Environmental Management from Brunel University

He is Vice Chairman of the CIWM Communications Committee, a trustee of the Carymoor Environmental Trust and is a past Chair of the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management Southwest.
