The WSBF presents at Imperial College's policy forum

This week, WSBF Policy Manager, Rob Allen delivered a presentation at the Imperial College Forum, Imperial's policy engagement programme that connects academics with policy makers to lead on global environmental challenges. 

The Forum focussed on Water Management and Rob presented on Impacting water policy in the new Parliament.  He reviewed some of the WSBF's recent policy wins and explored forthcoming impact areas, including the 25 Year Environment Plan, Environment Bill and Future Homes Standard.The session was attended by a range of academics, civil servants and businesses.  Guest speakers included:  Professor Nick Voulvoulis, who presented on water and the circular economy, Dr. Barnaby Dobson, who provided an update on his research on water infrastructure systems, Dr. Jimmy O'Keeffe, who spoke on sustainable urban design, and Llyr Williams, who focussed on accelerating access to wastewater treatment.
