The APPCOG is an official All-Party Parliamentary Group dedicated to tackling CO poisoning in the UK, improving government policy around carbon monoxide safety, and raising public awareness of the threat posed by toxic CO gas.
The APPCOG is co-Chaired by Parliamentarians from three different political parties, and from both Houses of Parliament. The APPCOG is co-chaired by Andrew Bingham MP (Con), Barry Sheerman MP (Lab/Co-op), Baroness Maddock (LD) and Baroness Finlay of Llandaff (CB). In line with the new rules for All-Party Parliamentary Groups, a wider group of 20 'qualifying members' is no longer required, however all Parliamentarians are invited to, and can be involved in, all APPCOG activities.
