Peter joined Policy Connect in May 2023 as Senior Researcher in our Education and Skills team. He works with the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Skills, Career & Employment, the Skills Commission, and the Higher Education Commission.

Previously, Peter completed a PhD in Politics and International Studies at the University of Warwick. His research was at the intersection of politics, philosophy and economics, exploring how labour market policymakers should respond to involuntary unemployment.

At the University of Warwick, Peter also worked as a Senior Graduate Teaching Assistant, teaching a course on the history of political philosophy to undergraduate students. Prior to this, Peter worked for the online discussion platform Kialo.

Peter holds an MSc in Political Theory and a BSc in Politics and Philosophy from the London School of Economics (LSE). His experience working in mentoring, tutoring, and widening participation while at the LSE initially sparked his interest in education and skills.

Outside of work, Peter enjoys watching American football, playing tennis and baseball, reading political philosophy, and listening to and playing music.
