Shiza Naveed
Shiza joined Policy Connect in April 2021 as a Project Coordinator within the Industry, Technology & Innovation team. In January 2022 she became a Policy Manager for Design and leads on the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Design and Innovation (APDIG). Shiza left Policy Connect in April 2022.
Through her work with the APDIG, Shiza is also part of the Design Council's Design Economy 2021 steering group as well as the InnovateUK | KTN Design Innovation Network advisory group.
Shiza is currently a part-time MSc Human Rights & Politics student at the London School of Economics & Political Science. Previously, Shiza has worked as a Design Consultant at a renewable energy service company (ESCO) and has experience as a Consultant at a Fintech start-up.
At LSE, Shiza leads events within the LSESU Visual Arts Society. Throughout university, Shiza has also supported multiple social enterprises aiming to empower and improve the conditions for refugees and asylum seekers in the UK. She also holds a BA in Philosophy from the University of Warwick.
Outside work, Shiza is an avid painter and enjoys baking.
