Research Fellow

Jo joined Policy Connect in January 2020 as a Research Fellow working on the Net Zero essay collection project. This will bring together MPs and leading academics to write a series of essays on UK climate change policy, informed by roundtable discussions.

Jo is seconded from the UCL Centre for Behaviour Change, where she is a postdoctoral researcher in urban sustainability and convenes the Environment & Behaviour hub. She was previously appointed as Royal Holloway’s first Research and Development Coordinator in psychology. During her PhD, Jo carried out research for the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory and completed a parliamentary fellowship on age-friendly cities. She has an MSc from the University of Oxford and BA from the University of Cambridge.

Outside of work Jo is a youth leader, enjoys choral singing and is interested in graphic design.
