James joined Policy Connect in September 2023 as Communications and Events Co-ordinator.
Previously, James completed a Master's degree in Public Policy at Sciences Po Paris. His studies incorporated topics across politics, communications, and public policy. During his period at Sciences Po, James interned with UNESCO's Inclusive Policy Lab, an online platform for knowledge crowdsourcing and its translation into inequality-reducing policies.
James also holds a BA in History and Politics from Queen's University Belfast. While at Queen's, James served as President of a university political society, organising an event series, volunteering with local charities, and running campaign sessions.
Outside of work, James enjoys reading history and politics, supporting West Ham United, listening to music, and running.
