Becky joined Policy Connect from the charity Pancreatic Cancer Action, where she worked as Health and Policy Manager, responsible for research, policy and project management. Prior to this, she held a number of nursing roles.
Becky has a BSc in Biology and another in Health and Social Care. She holds an MSc in Public Health and completed a dissertation examining the impact of climate change on the health of older adults.
As part of Becky's current role, she supports the All-Party Health Group and works across the organisations health related work. This includes Health and Climate Change, Cell and Gene and the ImprovE-ACT research project with Manchester Metropolitan University.
Outside of Policy Connect, she acts an independent advisor to a University of Surrey project using primary care data for early cancer diagnosis. In her spare time, Becky has volunteered in night shelters across her local area, providing support to people experiencing homelessness. She also enjoys cross-fit, strength training and reading.
