Minister delivers speech at Make UK and APMG summer reception

On Tuesday 18 July, The All-Party Manufacturing Group and Make UK welcomed guests for a summer reception in Parliament to launch Make UK's latest report Digitalise to Decarbonise.

Minister Graham Stuart MP (Department for Energy Security and Net Zero) delivered a keynote at the reception, giving guests insight into the Department's work and thoughts on the importance of the manufacturing sector on the path to achieving net zero and the need to digitalise to decarbonise. 

Guests also heard from:

  • Mark Pawsey MP - APMG Co-chair,
  • Stephen Phipson CBE - Make UK CEO, and 
  • Nat Macaulay, Managing Director at JCM Fine Joinery and Vice-chair of the Make UK West Midlands Regional Advisory Board.
