RoboTips: The ethical black box (EBB)

Postponed

Please note this event has been postponed and will take place early next year.

The All Party Parliamentary Group for Data Analytics (APGDA) and the RoboTips team are delighted to be hosting a webinar to discuss the implementation of the ethical black box (EBB) and the need for this technology within social robots.

The session will take place on Monday 15th November 10:0am – 11:45am and will be chaired by Daniel Zeichner, Chair of the APGDA.

We will hear from panellists including Lord Clement Jones, Alan Winfield, Marina Jirotka, Chi Onwurah MP and more before opening the conversation to an audience Q&A.

RoboTips aims to develop a new approach to responsible innovation (RI) in the context of trustworthy and secure technologies. The principle challenge is to embed responsible innovation into technology developers’ practices and to create positive cases of RI in action. The EBB will aim to enhance safety in automated systems whilst also advancing public trust in these technologies.
