Mayors Andy Burnham and Steve Rotheram are assembling leading figures from their regional government, industry and education sectors to discuss the challenges of levelling up the north west’s economy. The Liverpool Region and Greater Manchester areas are coming together to discuss how to improve regional economic growth, boost innovation activity and deliver a highly skilled workforce.
The event with be chaired by Natascha Engel, Chief Executive of Policy Connect, and will take the format of an exclusive roundtable webinar. The roundtable coincides with the upcoming launch of the Higher Education Commission’s report on universities’ role in increasing innovation activity throughout the UK, produced by Policy Connect and sponsored by the University of Salford.
