EdTech for Special Education Needs & Disability (SEND)

EdTech for Special Education Needs & Disability (SEND)

1st May 2019

At the beginning of April the government published its education technology strategy. The strategy recognises the important role of technology in breaking down barriers and fostering inclusion for children with additional needs. The APPG for Assistive Technology is holding this symposium to discuss both the EdTech agenda and the ways in which the Strategy as a whole can benefit those with additional needs.

The event will bring together teachers, technology developers, experts and parliamentarians to discuss how we can embed the use of technology within inclusive teaching and mainstream best practice, and will explore innovative new models. This meeting builds in the APPG’s longstanding and productive engagement with the Department for Education.
