Following the launch of the All-Party Parliamentary Sustainable Resource Group (APSRG) briefing paper “Remanufacturing: Towards a resource efficient economy” published in March 2014, the APMG and the APSRG have been conducting a more in-depth inquiry into the state of the remanufacturing industry in the UK. This event will launch the final report, which presents a holistic picture of UK remanufacturing, and makes recommendations to government to help improve the dynamism of the sector.

With an estimated value of £5 billion to the UK economy, remanufacturing is important to UK growth, as well as plays an intrinsic role in moving towards a more circular economy.
