Rationalising Local Government: Sustainable Estate Management

Public sector organizations are subject to a range of measures designed to prompt more sustainable estate management ranging from inclusion of local authorities within the Carbon Reduction Commitment, to the use of the Sustainable Operations on the Government Estate (SOGE) targets to improve sustainability in central government. 


Beyond Buildings: Procuring BSF Sustainably

The WSBF inquiry into Building Schools for the Future provides a broad overview of the sustainability of the programme as a whole. Chaired by Barry Sheerman MP and the Rt Hon Nick Raynsford MP, the report highlights the importance of addressing user behaviour if the building is to successfully reduce its carbon footprint.
