The Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) has today joined the Westminster Sustainable Business Forum.

Founded in 1895, CIWEM is the leading international Royal Chartered professional body dedicated to the water and environment sector. We represent and support a community of thousands of members and organisations in 89 countries. All our members are dedicated to improving water and environmental management as well as associated social and cultural issues, for the benefit of the public. CIWEM works towards a safer, more sustainable world through building a global community of water and environmental professionals.

Director of Policy Alastair Chisholm said:

CIWEM is keen to spread our knowledge and experience in the water and environmental sectors, and feed into policy creation in these areas in Parliament. CIWEM is looking forward to engaging with the Westminster Sustainable Business Forum’s members, and contributing to the ongoing Water and Housing Inquiry.”
