Are we Warmer and Greener yet? The state of UK domestic energy efficiency policy

30th November 2017
9.30 - 11.30am

Speakers:

  • Peter Aldous MP
  • Dr Alan Whitehead MP

Please join our Parliamentary co-chairs Peter Aldous MP and Dr Alan Whitehead MP in revisiting the work of Warmer & Greener: A Guide to the Future of Domestic Energy Efficiency Policy, published in April 2016

The Westminster Sustainable Business Forum (WSBF) will be organising a follow-up conference to review the report’s recommendations and progress made in the policy area since its publication last year.

Since its publication, the report has been disseminated to relevant Parliamentarians as well as to key stakeholders across government and industry. In addition, the WSBF has held 6 round table events which convened Parliamentarians, Civil Servants and industry stakeholders to discuss some of the report’s topics in more detail.

While this dissemination process has continued throughout 2017, the follow-up conference will aim to take a step back and review the impact achieved so far. This will also help to ensure that energy efficiency policy receives the level of attention that is required to tackle fuel poverty, and achieve the UK’s climate change objectives.

To register your interest in attending, please email WSBF Manager Jim Clark
