Aaron joined the Education and Skills team in March 2016. He works primarily on Skills research inquiries, but also provides support for the work of the Skills Commission and the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Skills and Employment.
Since starting at Policy Connect, Aaron has led on the FETL (Further Education Trust for Leadership) grant funded “LIFES” inquiry. The inquiry examines how further education/skills providers can be more innovative in the future, with a particular focus on the leadership of innovations in their institutional structures.
Prior to joining Policy Connect, Aaron worked as Policy and Public Relations Officer for the 157 Group of Further Education Colleges. Before this, Aaron spent time working at the International SPY Museum, Washington DC, researching espionage for new exhibits.
Aaron holds a BA (Hons) in Politics and an MA in Political and Legal Theory, both from the University of Warwick.
Outside of work, Aaron is a passionate Charlton Athletic supporter who enjoys gardening, reading and long pub walks. He is also a karaoke enthusiast.
