NSF Seminar on the Comprehensive Spending Review

On Tuesday 26th October the National Skills Forum hosted a seminar examining the Comprehensive Spending Review and its implications for further education and skills policy.

Speakers at the event included:

  • Graham Hoyle, Chief Executive of the Association of Learning Providers
  • Baroness Ritchie of Brompton, Chair of the Children and Young People's Board, Local Government Association
  • Tony Travers, Director of the Greater London Group, London School of Economics


Issues discussed during the seminar included: apprenticeships; financial implications for further education institutions; transitioning from public sector jobs to private sector jobs; the view from local government; green jobs and information advice and guidance.
