Behaviour and the Built Environment: Report Launch with Lord Richard Rogers

Behaviour and the Built Environment: Report Launch with Lord Richard Rogers

28th March 2017
4pm-6pm

Baroness Whitaker of Beeston and Lord Rogers of Riverside request the pleasure of your company at the launch of the Design Commission’s inquiry report, at the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Room, Houses of Parliament.

The launch will focus on the relationship between design, the built environment and human behaviours and the report focuses on four main themes that emerged from the Design Commission's evidence sessions:

  • healthy behaviours
  • environmentally sustainable behaviours
  • socially cohesive behaviours
  • productive, innovative and creative behaviours

By setting out a list of core recommendations for central government, local and devolved administrations, and the private and third sectors, this report will show how placing the behaviour of people at the heart of the built environment directly contributes to better design principles.

The keynote speech will be given by Lord Rogers of Riverside.

Afternoon tea will also be served.

The report and launch are kindly funded by BRE - an independent and impartial, research-based advisory, testing and training organisation, offering expertise in every aspect of the built environment and associated industries.

Please RSVP here.
