www.healthinparliament.org.uk

The APHG is an all-party parliamentary group dedicated to disseminating knowledge, generating debate and facilitating engagement on health issues amongst Members of Parliament.

Chronic Pain Policy Coalition (CPPC)

www.paincoalition.org.uk

Over 7.8 million people, both young and old, suffer from chronic pain.

But there is currently no national stratergy in place in England to deal with the condition.

The CPPC therefore provides a key forum for patients, professionals and parliamentarians who believe we need to raise the profile of chronic pain as a serious health and social issue amongst policymakers.

The CPPC strives to work with a range of stakeholders to help develop policies that will enable patients and their families to better manage their condition and to live better lives.
