Are Distributed Energy and Energy Efficiency the ‘squeezed middle’ of the power debate?
5 July 2012, Manchester Central Conference Centre
Following two Carbon Connect research programmes on these issues – the latest carried out jointly with Impartial College London – this seminar explored how, by promoting greater roll-out of energy efficiency measures and localising energy generation, the UK can create a far more resilient and resource efficient system. Our expert panel brought to the table a myriad of perspectives and interests on the agenda, and addressed the question of whether our energy future is in need of a radical re-think.
