Carbon Connect hosts regular events in Westminster that bring together Parliamentarians, civil servants and industry leaders to examine the key issues relating to UK energy and climate change policy.

A panel discussion to examine options put forward by the Government’s consultation on Greenhouse Gas emissions reporting. Hard Rain Project: Solutions for Rio 

5th September 2011
Hard Rain has been seen by over 15 million people and is one of the most successful photographic displays ever. Carbon Connect organised an event in Westminster to launch a special collaboration with Sweden and heard speeches from leading thinkers working on the low carbon policy agenda.


Embedded Carbon Under the Spotlight
2nd November 2011 
This event focussed on the effect that outsourcing of carbon has on the UK's carbon footprint, asking whether a new approach is needed to calculate and control the amount of carbon that we consume. Read our event briefing.

A joint meeting between Carbon Connect and APMG bringing together Greg Barker, Minister of State for Energy and Climate Change, and speakers from industry, environmental groups and academia to discuss the challenge of reducing carbon whilst supporting the UK's manufacturing sector.
