WRAP Annual Report Published
Good progress made despite economic downturn
15 August 2011
WRAP's recently published Annual Report and Consolidated Accounts for the year ended March 2011, gives an overview of the organisation's progress against it's key priority areas and three year (2008-11) business plan. They key areas of WRAP's current work are to divert waste from landfill, reduce GHG emissions and generate economic benefits to UK plc. The report finds that although progress has been, in part, hampered by the continuing economic downturn, the organisation has made 'good progress' in overall aims, especially in achieving reductions in construction, packaging and food waste.
