Vince Cable Announces further Green Investment Bank Details
Business Secretary provides update on GIB

Following a recent announcement from the Deputy Prime Minister, Rt Hon Nick Clegg MP, the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, Rt Hon Vince Cable MP, outlined further details of the design of the Green Investment Bank (GIB). In an oral statement to the House of Commons, which was accompanied by a progress report, the Business Secretary emphasised that the GIB will help to address market failure in three sectors, including waste.
