The close of the first decade of the 21st Century, and with local and general elections due in spring 2010, presents an excellent opportunity to take stock of progress and debate how we can acheive a truly resource efficieny economy over the next ten, twenty, and fifty years.

This parliamentary question-time debate and drinks reception, organised in partnership with Improvement & Efficiency South East, stimulated a wide-ranging and detailed debate on the valuable contribution sustainable resources can make to climate change mitigation, resource efficiency and reducing costs during a recession.
