With a new parliamentary policy agenda taking shape, the APSRG's first event of the new Parliament focused on the key environmental policy priorities for parliament to address over the next three to five years, with an emphasis on sustainable resource management.

This will be a key policy area for this parliament, with challenging 2020 targets to achieve for reducing carbon emissions, increasing renewable energy generation and diverting materials away from landfill that require comprehensive action over the next five years.
