DCLG calls for councils to communicate benefits of infrastructure project to communities
Second phase of scheme opened to councils after high demand

Decentralisation Minister Greg Clark MP has encouraged leading local authorities to step forward and participate in a project which shall exhibit how the benefits of development can be shared with local communities. Additional money which will be raised through the Community Infrastructure Levy, estimated to be around £1 billion per annum by 2016, is available for local authorities to apply to.
