The APPGAT is supported by MPs and Peers from across the political spectrum. The group is Chaired by Seema Malhotra MP (Lab), Co-chaired by Lord Low of Dalston CBE (crossbench), Lord Holmes of Richmond MBE (Con), and Matt Warman MP (Con).
Seema Malhotra MP was elected Labour and Co-Operative Member of Parliament for Feltham and Heston in December 2011, and she is a member of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Exiting the European Union.
Lord Chris Holmes of Richmond MBE is one of Britain’s greatest Paralympians, amassing nine gold, five silver and one bronze medal across four Games, including a record haul of six golds at Barcelona 1992.
Lord Colin Low of Dalston CBE has been a lifelong campaigner for the rights of blind and disabled people, especially in the field of education.
Matt Warman is the Member of Parliament for Boston and Skegness, having campaigned on a commitment to improve communication between Westminster and the electorate.
John has been the Member of Parliament for Leyton and Wanstead since May 2010 and from 1997 to 2005 he was the Member of Parliament for nearby Hornchurch, winning by one of the biggest swings in the country, and holding the constituency in 2001.
