Glastonbury 2017 lends support to the APPCOG CO Safety at Festivals Campaign

On the eve of the opening of Glastonbury 2017, where it is estimated that 75,000 people will attend, Emily Eavis, co-organiser of the Glastonbury Festival, met with Policy Connect's Energy Safety team and Maria Kokkinaki from BeAlarmed! campaign, to show their support for APPCOG's new CO Safety at Festivals campaign.

Emily Eavis said:

“The Glastonbury Festival team are really happy to support the APPCOG CO Safety at Festivals campaign. We want all of our festival goers to have an amazing experience but want them to stay safe! By highlighting the dangers of bringing a BBQ into a tent, either to keep warm or to carry on cooking, we hope that people will leave the BBQ outside and have a happy and healthy Glastonbury 2017.”
