Camira Fabrics are one of the biggest employers in my constituency with over 180 people at their manufacturing centre at Meltham Mills. In an area with such a rich textile heritage I’m proud that Camira are keeping the tradition going as a recognised leader in environmentally friendly and sustainable designs. They supply fabric for interiors to markets around the world and are a real manufacturing success story. I now look out for their fabrics whenever I’m on a bus, tube train or in an office.
