Thermitech Solutions Limited was established two years ago and are based in Gosport, Hampshire. The company is about to undergo commercial trials with a multi-nationalcompany based in the UK, prior to launching production models in 2012.

Thermal conversion process plant and machinery will provide the solution to the current problem of how to dispose of the ever growing mountain of Industries non recyclable carbon based waste or excess materials currently going to incineration or landfill. With climate change and environmental sustainability at the fore of public and political concern, increased materials utilisation and sustainable materials management is an essential future market.

The company employs seven staff during this research and testing phase, this however will be expanded significantly once commercial production is started shortly.

Further Engineering expertise will be appointed once the plants design has been finalised in order to aid in the detailed specification and procurement of production units set to commence installation from April 2012. Thermitech are currently in discussions with Southampton University for further research and development work on the products of conversion. It is hoped that these products can be refined as valuable raw materials back into the industries that created the waste in the first place.
