Industrial Evolution Roundtable

Industrial Evolution Roundtable

2nd February 2016
*Read the Event Summary Here* The Manufacturing Commission and the APMG are delighted to invite you to a round-table debate on the first two recommendations in the Manufacturing Commission’s Industrial Evolution report. The event will specifically focus on the first two recommendations in the report. These deal with promoting energy efficiency through low interest loans as well as expanding the R&D tax credit into a Resilience, Research & Development (RR&D) tax credit focused on creating greater incentives for business to invest in energy and resource efficiency measures that build national resilience to external factors.  This roundtable debate will seek to bring together parliamentarians, sustainable manufacturing experts, and representatives from the relevant government departments to discuss the issues surrounding the recommendations. It will hopefully inform the Government’s thinking on how to encourage manufacturers to introduce sustainable manufacturing processes as well as resource and energy efficiency measures. Chair:Jonathan Reynolds MP
