Bringing Manufacturing Technologies to Life

Bringing Manufacturing Technologies to Life

27th April 2017
08:30-16:30

The APMG is proud to be supporting the event 'Bringing Manufacturing Technologies to Life' at the University of Warwick. The meeting is a joint event of the IET, IMechE, and IoD looking at how to convert ideas into successful commercialisation, getting all the right ingredients and methods together for a successful and highly productive business.

Chris White MP, co-chair of the APMG will be speaking at the event, alongside Dr. George Dibb, Head of Manufacturing, Design & Innovation at Policy Connect.

Please RSVP via the IET website.

Innovation, commercialisation and productivity are the three key words that are constantly making the headlines in the UK. It is generally known that the UK has been very good with ideas and inventions, however lagging behind in commercialising them in comparison to other advanced economies. Furthermore, the current UK productivity output is currently 21% lower than the average for the other six members of the G7 (USA, Germany, France, Italy, Japan and Canada).
