Policy Connect BSF Forward Look Programme: ICT Seminar

On 11th December the APGDI hosted the next event in our Building Schools for the Future Forward Look Programme: 'Education Innovation - ICT in the Next Generation of Schools'.
The event brought together experts and key stakeholders from the ICT, building and education sector, as well as parliamentarians and policymakers, to discuss the potential for incorporating leading edge ICT into the Government's school-building programme, Building Schools for the Future.
On 11th December the APGDI hosted the next event in our Building Schools for the Future Forward Look Programme: 'Education Innovation - ICT in the Next Generation of Schools'.
The event brought together experts and key stakeholders from the ICT, building and education sector, as well as parliamentarians and policymakers, to discuss the potential for incorporating leading edge ICT into the Government's school-building programme, Building Schools for the Future.
Speakers included:
- Barry Sheerman MP - Founder and Secretary, APGDI, and Chairman, Children, Schools and Families Select Committee
- Tim Byles - Chief Executive of Partnership for Schools, the government body, established in 2004, tasked with ensuring the effective delivery of the Building Schools for the Future Programme.
- Stephen Crowne - Chief Executive of BECTA, the government agency leading the drive to ensure the effective and innovative use of technology throughout learning
- Mike Munn - Head of Education for Apple
