In collaboration with Urban Design London, the Design Commission will host a workshop exploring the way in which people manage and use streets impacts on people's health and wellbeing - as well as the cost benefits of supporting healthier lifestyles.

This workshop follows the launch of People and Places; Design of the Built Environment and Behaviour and will explore some of the key themes discussed in the report. 

Speakers include:

  • Assessing the Economic Benefits of Walking and Cycling (HEAT Tool / Better Streets Delivered 2): Hannah Logan, Transport for London
  • Behaviour and the Design of the Built Environment (People and Places Design Commission): Jack Tindale, Policy Connect
  • Healthy School Streets: Ben Knowles, LB Camden
